And so our padawans were continueing thier training when they were summoned to the central spire of the Jedi High Council.  Stepping from the elevator the trio were approached by thier Masters leaving the council chambers.  Looking over the padawans the Masters informed the group that they would be headed to a planet in the Outer Rim called Yabriniaus to settle a work dispute where all the parties have stopped going to the barganing tables.  Told they can goto the quartermaster to request any appropriate items for the trip. 

With that the Master's left to make there own preperations.  Jowanka and Grou decided to get in a little more training while Zim decided to hit the Archives and see where they were going.  After a quick conciltation with Misterious Nu, Zim located the appropriate datapad and was able to learn that the planet was known for 2 things, being that it is a mining planet and it is an arctic planet.  Heading for the quartermaster to get a snowsuit, Zim relayed his findings to the other two.  Grou quickly joined him and ended up having to return in the morning to collect something to protect him from the cold. 

The next morning everyone piled into the Dragons Sword and after a quick discussion Grou joined Zim as co-pilot.  Getting into the free flight space beyond the control of Coruscant traffic control  Zim quickly calculated where they needed to go and before he could have his Master double check his calculations Grou followed a stray suggestion from Jowanka resulted in Grou "punch{ing} it".  Suddenly thrown into hyperspace to an unknown location, Grou quickly took his leave, making way for Master Annix to step in and start reviewing Zims Astrogation calculations.   A couple hours later Master Annix left the cockpit swearing, announcing to the others that they were headed to Nar Shada, the moon over the Hutt homeworld and a place Jedi try to avoid if possible.

With the 3 weeks in hyperspace the Padawans took the oppertunity to train thier bodies, minds and Force abilities while in hyperspace.  Coming out of hyperspace Zim and his copilot Master Annix had some issues coming out of hyperspace, resulting in damaging thier hyperdrive.  Having no choice but to land and make repairs Master Annix was able to secure them a landing pad with little issues.  Making an uneventful landfall Master Annix and Zaan quickly departed, leaving Master Mallinor to watch over the Padawans, whom were given strict orders not to leave the ship. 

The trio managed to keep out of trouble for almost a full 2 hours before a pissing contest between Grou and Jowanka resulted in one of Grou spines being imbedded into a control panel from being nocked down by Jowanka for questioning the Wookies courage.  Unfortunitly the panel damaged was linked to the Planatary S.O.S.  Master Mallinor quickly had Zim deactivate the Alarm and quickly scolding the other 2 padawans took Zim with him to greet the Nar Shada Port Authority.  With the correct application of the Force they were able to avoid having the ship searched but were under lockdown until the next morning.  Telling the padawans to behave Master Mallinor went to have a nap and some meditation. 

Zim and Jowanka headed to the cockpit to study the astrogation charts while Grou, beliveing he was following the essence of the Masters order not to leave the ship decided he would go outside and sit on the top of the ship.  After a few minutes of sitting on the roof a middle aged human woman leading a gaggle of kids approached the ship and hit the alert button at the rear hatch.  Deciding not to alert Master Mallinor Zim and Jowanka went and anwsered the door.  With the wookie behind him Zim addressed the woman who was inquiring as to the price of the Zoo.  Only the gods and the Force knows why Zim replied that the Zoo was closed down due to the animals getting loose, but that he did.  The woman lead the kids away and in a fluk of happen chance Grou decided to see what was going on and appeared at the lip of the ship with wings extended and claws flexed.  The woman departed in a hurry, unbeknownst to the group the woman immediatly went to the Nar Shada Animal control board and reported the ship having escaped dangerious animals.  Responding in a hard immediate fashion Grou noticed shortly after a group of 12 men heading for the ship armed with nets and a very large gun.  Alerting his fellow padawans Grou decided it would be best to get back inside.  Touching down on the ground Grou found that he had a dart sitting in his chest. Quickly trying to neutralize the dart with the force Grou crumpled into a heap of unconciousness.  Inside the ship Zim persuaded Jowanka into waking his Master.  Master Mallinor went to the rear hatch to deal with the issue while the padawans waited in the lounge.  Returning 10 minutes later Master Mallinor explained that Grou had been taken to the pound and Master Mallinor planned to await the return of the other Masters before they went and got Grou released and it would be best if Zim and Jowanka went and sat on thier hands until the other Masters returned.  Not wanting to anger Master Mallinor any more, Jowanka and Zim quickly retreated to the cockpit and did indeed sit on thier hands until some time later.

When the other 2 Masters returned and had a discussion with Master Mallinor about the events, Master Mallinor and Zaan left to the Pound to secure Grou's release while Master Annix decided to take Jowanka and Zim to the Circus Horrificus.  Both Padawans were seeing more into the visit than what Master Annix had planned but let thier young minds work overtime.  After staying for a couple of events Master Mallinor took the padawans to a pub, wanting to wet his whistle and work some of the Wookies aggression out before they got to thier mission.  Entering the bar both Master Annix and Jowanka noticed the table of Trandosians sitting in the back rabble rousing.  Slidding up to the bar Master Annix ordered a drink and allowed both the Padawans to order something.  Jowanka order something from home, what is known in the galaxy as Wookie Hooch, one of the more potent alcohols in the known galaxy.  Zim, to almost everyones surprise ordered the same.  As expected, dispite his attempt to dilute the poision with the Force was still knocked into a drunkin stuper and collapsed onto the floor.  Returning his attention to the bar Jowanka was handed a club soda, the bartender indicating that it was from the Trandosians table.  Getting the money from Master Annix Jowanka returned the favor of 4 club sodas for the Trandosians after convincing the Bartender that any damages would be paid for by the party to throw the first punch.  As expected soon after recieving the club soda's the 4 trandosians confronted Jowanka.  After a short exchange of insults with the Trandosian leader the pair started fighting, with the trandosian throwing the first punch.  During the first Zim continuly tried through his drunken stupper to filter the blood in his alcohol stream so he could walk again.  The fight between Jowanka and the trandosian was at a standstill until Jowanka was able to break the arm of the trandosian by punching down on the grappling trandosians arm.  Falling back the trandosian attempted to draw his blaster pistol but due to slipping on some spilt booze it jumped from his hand and with Jedi relfexes Jowanka caught the blaster, and was accused by the fallen mercancy that the Wookie had drawn a gun in an honerable fist fight.  Tossing the gun over the bar the trio, with Zim back on his feet, made a tactical withdrawl from the bar and went back to the ship.  Getting a good night sleep Grou was released the next morning and cleared to leave the system, which they did with Zim making the initial calculations and Master Annix checking his work and making only a couple minor changes.  3 short days later they arrived at Yabriniaus, exiting Hyperspace with no issues. 

Our 3 padawans were almost the last chosen from thier class.  Immediatly from the selection class the 3 Padawans were taken to a large training gym.  Inside the gym the trio found a table holding a wide variety of blasters and blaster carbines.  There was a a 3 foot tall, 2 foot diameter hunk of stone off in one of the corners.  Finally, obviously to follow the trio was a solid steel crate connected to a rope and pulley system and a large tub of a boiling liquid. 

Jedi Annix selected first his padawan, wanting to make sure the other 2 learned for thier tests.  Walking over, Jedi Annix informed Padawan Min that he was required to lift the hunk of rock, without touching it.  After a quick examination of the room and the winch system Zim attempted to lift the rock with Telekinesis, quickly finding that he did not possess the power required to lift the block. So, like all younglings are taught, he concentrated on lifting the object, and just as he felt the stone begin to leave the ground his concentration was broken by a forceful blow to the head from his Master snapping his concentration.  Before his padawan attempted it again he was asked "And what have you learned?".  Min replied in all honestly "We need to keep a mnd of our surroundings."  Nodding Annix moved onto the next test.

Annix selected Padawan Drayven for the next test.  Placed in the center of the room he was simply told to defend himself.  Annix selected a pair of blaster pistols and started firing.  After bouncing a couple of shots, one into the ceiling dislodging some rubble which fell on his head.  Quickly realizing that there was no way he was going to be able to keep up he dove for cover behind the blank stone slab.  Annix switched out his blaster pistols for a heavy blaster carbine and started firing, empting the blaster's energy pack into the slab, fully desimating it.  After a failed attempt to diswade Annix from firing at him by throwing on of his blasters at him, not even to connect.  As Jedi Annix picked up a fresh heavy balster carbine he asked the padawan if he had learned anything.  With the addition of the other padawans they figured out the second test a new Jedi needs to learn is "that surrender is an option."

The last test was for our Wookie. Stripped of his lightsaber, which was tossed into the crate, the crate was raised above the vat of something nasty.  Set into place and handed the rope the Wookie, despite his enormous strength it was all his strength could handle just holding the box in place.  Not able to shift the box or the vat.  After some experimintation Jowanka asked his fellow Padawan's for some help and completed his part of the lesson. 

The padawans spent a week or so training under their Masters, being evaluated and tested to see where thier strengths and weakness's lie

First things first, I best start with the setting and the characters in that setting.  

We are playing in 37BBY.

Our characters started out on Coruscant, but will undoubtly go far in thier careers as Jedi.

Our first by Random selection is our oddest character.  From a remote region in the Outer Rim, being in the Galactic Republic simply by virtue of being between 2 systems that are in the Republic.  Found by chance by a sensor droid out looking for smugglars and pirates and identified as being Force Sensitive, the Jedi order sent a first contact specialist out to Stenos.  There the first contact specialist found Grou Drayven and through some quick negotiations arranged to take the boy back to Coruscant.

Our second adventurer is the next rarest.  A wookie, called Jowanka, was discovered on one of the many wookie settlement planets was found tilling the fields and was recuited into the Order with no issues.

Our last adventurer, a young Sullustan, was discovered on Sullust and sent to the order by one of the Sullustan Jedi stationed there.  As was his family tradition they gave the boy something to remind him always of his family and gave him the Dragons Sword, a clunker of a AIAT/i that has been sitting since the fall of the Mandilorians when Zim Min's relative piloted the stolen craft in the war to stop the Mandilorians.

In an attempt to impress a potential masters so they didn't end up in the Agricore, the trio successfully created thier lightsabers.

And so they were chosen.  The 3 masters, having gained special approval from the Jedi Council, were going to be splitting the 3 padawans training, each teaching the learners something of thier individual specialties.  

Our young Wookie was chosen by Master Mallinor, a Khil master who has taken Jownaka as his 7th padawan.  A hard a nails, no nonsense master, he would be handling most of the boys Force and Force Powers training as well as more academic prosuits.

Our Sullustan was taken under his wing by Jedi Ranik Annix, a knight, only because he is never at the temple long enough for them to give him the offical standing and respsonsibilities.  Rumored to be one of the Grey Jedi, what he does when not at the temple no one knows, nor do they push.  A salt and pepper haired Zabrak, he gives alot of slack, more than enough to hang yourself on, with enough left over to get yourself out of it.  He intends to teach the impressional lads the important real world skills they will need to survive the galaxy.

Our Stenax was chosen my Jedi Knight Vika Zaan, a Torgurta on his way to becoming a Weapons Master.  Proficcient with 4 additional lightsaber combat forms and mastering Teras Kasi, he is close to having the skills he needs to become a Weapons Master, now needs to train his first Padawan to attain the rank of Master within the order.  He is planned to teach the lads combat and defensive techniques to keep them alive in combat situations.  

And so our interpid adventureres imbark on their tale of adventure....
